Lunch and Legacy - A Conversation - Honoring 6888th Battalion Member PFC Elouise V. Hudgins Rice (McMichael Hall)

Join us for a special Lunch and Legacy event honoring Private First Class (PFC) Elouise V. Hudgins Rice (McMichael Hall), a proud member of the historic 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion. Recently awarded the Congressional Gold Medal and to be honored in Washington, D.C. on April 29, 2025 along with her fellow battalion members, Cousin Elouise’s service and sacrifice stand as a powerful reminder of the contributions of African American women in World War II. Through a brief presentation, family reflections, and a Q&A session, we will celebrate her life, her legacy, and her impact on both our family and the communities she helped shape.
