As a descendant of Lee and Frances “Fannie” Shelton Cathey, Terry is deeply committed to preserving family history, supporting community connection, and serving others through both ministry and leadership. A proud father, minister, entrepreneur, and family historian, he brings a unique blend of wisdom, humor, professionalism, and dedication to his role within the Shelton Heritage Society of Georgia & Historic Possum Trot, Inc.

Terry is the owner of a trucking business and has extensive experience in ministry, organizational leadership, and financial oversight. His strong work ethic and attention to detail have made him a trusted voice in both business and community settings. Known for his meticulous approach to finances and administration, he currently serves as Treasurer and Board Director for the Society, helping guide the organization’s stewardship and operational responsibilities.

In addition to his professional and leadership experience, Terry serves as a historian for the Harper-Williams family line, reflecting his passion for preserving stories, connections, and generational memory. He values the importance of family, faith, and heritage and believes deeply in the responsibility of carrying those histories forward for future generations.
